Commitment to the Community
The Real Estate Divas are committed to giving back to our community. Funds are raised at each meeting and that money is matched by the organization and donated to charities that are selected by our members.
Last Month's Charitable Selection
In response to the LA fires we partnered with Baby2Baby, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit, female led by Co-CEOs Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein, dedicated to providing essential items to children living in poverty. The organization has distributed over 450 million items nationwide.
In response to the devastating wildfires across Los Angeles, Baby2Baby has already provided over 6 million emergency supplies, including diapers, food, formula, and hygiene products, to children and families who have lost everything. Partnering with 470 organizations across LA County — including schools, shelters, and hospitals — Baby2Baby is working tirelessly to meet the urgent requests for essential items
Sit and Snip Lunch Volunteers
Our Sit & Snip lunch hour event was kindly hosted at DPR. A group of 15 RED member volunteers got together to remove the logos from 200 blankets kindly donated by Peacock Construction to distribute among a few SF shelters; Raphael House, Community Forward SF, and Hospitality House.
